Resort is located a stone-throw away from the Sacred Golden Temple in
Dambulla as well as a number of archeological, cultural and interesting

We stopped at Dambulla rest on the way to Anuradhapura. The Sri Lankan breakfast was really good and yummy. The place is very clean and the ambience is good. It's very close to the Temple area as well...Sarana, Australia

The Resort is a very convenient hub for number of Tourist attractions with in the Central province in Sri Lanka. Number of such attractions list to over 20 with in a 1 hour radius inclusive of Nature, Culture, Religion, History, Shopping and way of life.
Dambulla rest house is a good for one night stay. The rooms are good and comfortable. Cleanliness standards are acceptable. It is very close to Golden Buddha Temple which is good for an early morning visit. Hotel serves nice rice and fish curry...
We had booked 1 night at the Rest House (listed in Lonely Plane guide) in order to visit the Dambulla caves. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
